Suspension Dyno DB4® is the shock absorber test bench designed and built by Umbria Kinetics to deliver maximum precision in measuring suspension performance.

The result of years of research and development, this system combines fully proprietary hardware and software engineering to provide a stable, intuitive, and high-performance platform.

Its goal is simple: to give suspension professionals a compact, reliable, and powerful tool capable of performing dynamic tests with consistent, repeatable results.

The first Suspension Dyno prototype was developed in collaboration with a leading international player in the sector. Over the years, the project has been continuously refined, and today the DB4 version stands as the flagship model, synonymous with precision, durability, and innovation in the world of test systems.

Entirely designed and developed by Umbria Kinetics, Suspension Dyno DB4 integrates state-of-the-art hardware components with proprietary software. The professional, intuitive interface has been completely redesigned to meet the latest operational requirements and reflect UMK’s new visual identity.

Engineered to combine ergonomics and efficiency, DB4 features clean lines, compact dimensions, and full accessibility to key components - making it practical to use and easy to maintain. Suspension Dyno DB4 is available in single-phase 4 kW and three-phase 5.5 kW versions, allowing adaptability to different testing environments.

The bench’s high structural stiffness and mechanical precision ensure minimal vibration on the work surface. Its frame has been designed to strike the perfect balance between rigidity and lightness, minimizing flex and guaranteeing reliable, distortion-free data during dynamic testing.
